What Airplane Mode changes on Apple Watch

Older models can have different hardware, battery condition, and software support. The calculator includes older model options for comparison, but an older battery may deliver much less runtime than its original published figure.
How battery health changes the estimate
Battery health describes the battery’s maximum capacity compared with when it was new. Apple explains that rechargeable batteries chemically age and hold less charge over time. That is why two watches of the same model can provide different runtime even with the same settings.
